New Patients at Motion Co. Muscle and Chiropractic
When you book your appointment with Motion Co. Muscle and Chiropractic, we’ll send you our intake form to be completed and submitted online before coming in for your visit. We ask that you wear loose and comfortable clothing, as we’ll be doing some soft tissue therapies at your initial visit.
Your First Visit
When you enter our practice (which is located in the F45 gym), our chiropractor Dr Tim will greet you and make you feel welcome. He’ll talk with you in-depth about your physical history to understand the traumas your body has sustained and ensure that chiropractic is the right choice for your condition.
Next, he’ll conduct a thorough assessment, which may include orthopaedic tests, range of motion evaluations, muscle testing or any other diagnostic tests that he deems necessary, based on your unique situation. He’ll explain everything he finds, as well as his recommendations for care.
If you’re ready to begin, you may sign the consent form to begin care at this visit. Dr Tim will typically include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue mobilisations, exercises and education at this first appointment.
Regular Visits
We don’t create long, drawn-out care plans. Our goal is to get you better quickly. To do that, we offer longer appointments, so that we can incorporate all the soft tissue work you need. Most patients have 30-minute regular visits ($110). In some cases, we may recommend a 15-minute appointment ($70).
Exercise and Education
Because our goal is to get you well as quickly as possible, Dr Tim will give you exercises specific to your condition, along with education about the biomechanics of your movement patterns. These exercises and education are tailored to help you understand how your body works, so you can take care of it better going forward. We want to empower you to take control of your own health!
